Happy New Year to all of you. I have not been able to properly thank each and every one of you, but I would like to thank you all for your support over the past year.
Last year, many people contacted me and I was able to do a lot of interesting work. I also had many opportunities to speak at seminars and workshops (for Japanese language learners, Japanese language teachers, and university students). I am really not good at public speaking, but it was a great experience and I am sincerely grateful for it.
In March 2022, I obtained my certification as a learning advisor. This was an opportunity for me to reduce my work as a Japanese language teacher and gradually increase my work as a learning advisor and career consultant. I have seen many people take the first steps in language learning and job hunting through counseling, and I feel the significance and potential of this work.
One of my goals for 2023 is to take and pass the Eiken Level 1 test in the fall, which I have been putting off for a long time. I have more and more opportunities to teach English and use English with Japanese language learners at work, and I need to brush up. Another thing is to let young people know the appeal of Japanese language teaching. I want to do my best in this, even though I am not good at seminars.
Thank you all for your continued support this year☺.
